The Narrative Behind The Diary Of Anne Frank

.BERLIN

This project entailed breaking down a narrative and building a new one from the originals core material. These images were a personal take on the Narrative behind The Diary Of Anne Frank.
This text chosen back at the beginning of February in light of the forth coming trip to Berlin. Whilst there i had the opportunity to visit a concentration camp to get a interactive feel for the story as well as absorb the illustrated city itself. The themes illustrated in this series are as follows; being the hunted and encroaching danger, possibly something about unnecessary death if you really want to tear it apart...

Images made by making sketches with dip ink and pen then transferring onto acetate and layering up backgrounds behind. Not my usual way of working and i'm not entirely sure if this is what i like but i thought it was time i tried something new and this is what i came up with, was worth a try!

Submitted images 1,3,4 and 6 to best illustrate the plot of anne frank
